    I was asked to do an interview for ’s last week. I did a 30min pre-intrvw & 20min interview w . Spoke about protests in Palestine & the young people we buried. They didn’t air it & havent answered emails in a week.

    Now imagine being a Palestinian journalist sitting in a CBC newsroom (or any newsroom for that matter) and seeing your entire identity and history deemed as something that could be “accidentally” used in a script.

    Ontario Premier Doug Ford says the province's public safety regulations will be amended to allow the use of playgrounds but the ban on outdoor gatherings will remain in place. The announcement on Twitter follows widespread criticism of the playground ban.

    CTV reports "Ottawa Hospital increases surge plans as COVID-19 cases rise in Ottawa"... "to accommodate upwards of 220 COVID-19 patients". Meanwhile, Ottawa Citizen reports "Ottawa hospitals receiving critically ill COVID patients from the GTA". Half truth is not the truth.

    Data can tell any story you want it to. "Current trends" are based on people's actions pre-stay-at-home order. Ford et al have told us consistently that it takes about 2 weeks to start seeing a difference.
