The zoo news lately has been wild

We are thrilled beyond belief to share that our two emperor tamarin monkeys have been found. DPD located the animals early this evening, and called our team to come secure and transport the tamarins back to the Zoo. They will be evaluated by our veterinarians this evening.

While we’re still on Twitter, just my annual reminder that NOW is the last chance to lock in your Black History Month speakers. Not January, and not beginning of February. Get those (large) budgets approved and send those (respectful) invitations and let’s do it right this year🙏🏾

Today, let us remember Martin Luther King as he was: A Black radical anti-capitalist, anti-imperialist, revolutionary Christian internationalist who was deemed an enemy of the State and assassinated for his radical work. Just about everything else is a lie.

For those not understanding how important this is. People in jail have children, no matter the crime they committed. I was prevented from speaking to my mother as a child simply because we couldn’t afford it 😩 this would have given me everything I had always wished for 💯

this might sound weird but my favorite part of this #OverheardNatGeo episode actually is not about bears, it's when tells that we should be supporting young people's passion for science rather than emphasizing their performance in that subject
