I think the government is getting it all wrong about the works of the civil societies in regards to the peace talks

South Sudan is not personal property of individuals occupying govt positions. Neither is the country owned by a small group of people, call it govt, political party or tribe. There must be checks so let authorities learnt to tolerate criticism and guidance from civil society.

Do these individuals want everyone else to keep silent when the country is burning up? If 'govt' chooses extremism and intolerance, peace will not return to South Sudan until they are REPLACED! They appear to have forgotten that everything has a limit.

What would be the role of civil society? I thought they are the bridge between the government and the civilian. Informing the civilian on political decision taken by the government, enlightment of civilian on government policy, consult with the civilian on policies, etc
