Honestly i don't believe they have our interest at heart. US is afraid that we are more lenient to the East than the west and they are losing ground in terms of trade and military control in Africa. Why would u put sanctions to a nation trying to rebuild itself?

Plus the US has threatened to withdraw its African aid from the UN if they don't turn to the west. This is all western shenanigans to try and play God and big brother. Africa is not a playing ground to show your prowess. We want our own African Independence.
