After the other recent crises where the world could react surprisingly fast (crash, covid, war+energy crisis), it is about time to draw the conclusion that humanity can act fast. So now do it on climate. My thermostat is at 14ºC in support of Ukraine. We can more than we think.

Economics has been too influential. That is about equilibrium, how to make it comfortable, and let trusted powers do their thing. We're beyond that. Now it has to be Transformonomics: how to really change course, using rules, regulations, morals, ethics, community, etc.

Maybe. But the idiocy has dominated and defined how we even think of the economy. The only sense came from 'heterodox' and 'alternative' economics, far from the 'mainstream'. Even the word 'growth' is toxic.

Great video, indeed. It is noticeable that degrowth is being ever wider discussed. Ever more 'mainstream' economists are realising how damaging the distraction is, of this badly defined 'growth' thing. For me, Raworth's Donut story was the entry point, widening my frame.
