I think weight stuff is confusing, because body weight, while pretty stable over long periods of time, can also shift around. It's not impossible, or even uncommon, for weight to shift downward at times; what's nearly impossible is *intentionally* making this happen *long-term*

I gained 70 pounds in 1.5 years on a cocktail of meds for bipolar. Very hard for me due to my hx of decades long ED. What's worse -- those who didn't know this history were used to me being "weight conscious," so I got a ton of "concerned" comments about the weight gain.
