The aura of video games from where I sat in college in the 90s was a bunch of nerdbros in a dark room, and I didn't want that life. It's... not that way anymore? At least not everywhere. And that's amazing! (1/2)

What I want to be different is for video game companies to realize they are, in general, bad at budgeting and scheduling, and to get better. This has a whole bunch of ramifications: * less or no overtime * hiring more juniors * pipelines matter * leadership and management matter
