It should be easy to know when you’ve found the official YouTube channel of a creator, artist, brand, or public figure. So in late October, we’re updating what it means for channels to be “Verified” w/ new eligibility criteria & a new look. Details → https://yt.be/help/3QfB pic.twitter.com/JXOvMbkbns

Who was surveyed? No one under the age of 40?
And why change the requirements?
A design update is one thing, (maybe change the checkmark to a V?), but YT needs to keep the requirements based on sub count. Too many scams in comment sections. Don't make it easier for scammers.1 reply 1 retweet 5 likes

Weird wording, I was trying to ask if it was ANYONE under the age of 40 lol. Cus, you know, most young people have no problem at all knowing what verification means. Maybe run some educational content for our out-of-touch friends instead of punishing your creators?
