Vegetarian Jeremy Corbyn supporter @KhaledElawadi wants to know:
Whilst insisting action is taken on Antisemitism, are we happy for Jews to be allowed to remain hidden away like gay people, ashamed to come out of their closet?

Certain things are AS. He frequently sides with Antisemites (Holocaust deniers, even convicted terrorists) over Jews, and when concerns have been voiced, senior LP members have cried ‘smear’, & those speaking up have been disciplined. IMO the horde’s taking its lead from the top.

I think its time we asked the directors of countdown if they know there employee is slandering the queens leader of the Opposition

Can you explain how Corbyn engages in AS activity? And a note, criticism of Israel does not make you AS, neither does advocating for a 2 state solution and meeting with both sides to resolve conflict in the area.
-
Yes. Members who may be AS doesn’t make Corbyn AS. Nor has he ever encouraged or ignored it. It’s a total stitch up. It’s quite obvious and draining. Corbyn is an advocate of peace particularly in the Middle East and that involves talking with both sides.
-
I’ve read the article. Yes they are some examples of AS which should be stopped. However there are many examples of criticism of the banking system and the rothschilds banking family which clearly are not AS. This is what is so frustrating.Israel are not allowed to be criticised.
-
Rothschilds. Good one

With the greatest of respect. He’s got bigger fish to fry. Antisemitism is a bigger problem in the Conservative party. Infact racism in general is. You on Theresa mays back? Is one form of racism more important than another?
-
Antisemitism is not a bigger problem in the Conservative Party. You are making this up to underplay
@UKLabour antisemitism. Please stop doing this. It’s invented. So many Corbynites spread this misinformation. Stop. -
There was a study, commissioned by the CST, that said antisemitic attitudes are more common among Cons voters than among Lab voters. Voters are not the Party. Jews are not fearful of the 13 million Labour voters. We fear the institutionally racist Labour Party and it’s leader.
-
A CST study (not sure if it’s the same one) also found that only 3-10% of Brits were consciously AS, yet 30% believed at least one -ve stereotype about Jews. This rose to 74% of those with strongly anti-Israel views.

I'm from Northern Ireland. Over recent decades, my knowledge of Corbyn was mainly around his support of the IRA (not unusal on the far laft). When he became Labour leader, I along with many others were surprised by the narrative that he had never met or supported the IRA...
-
... & that he had played an important role in the peace process. The narrative is quite laughable. He has met the IRA, supported them & wasn't on the radar during the peace process. Here is Jeremy not meeting the IRA, apparently. Sinn Fein was under the command of the IRA...pic.twitter.com/IiNsx2rWs8

... at all levels. We know this to be true, because we had intelligence information confirming this, including internal IRA documentation on the restructuring of the IRA in the 1970s, in which it's control of Sinn Fein was stated clearly. It was the political wing of the IRA...
-
... and anyone with an interest in the Northern Ireland troubles, would have known tnis in the 1980s. So, either Corbyn was clueless about a topic in which he supposedly played an important role as peacemaker, or he is engaging in a game of semantics to explain away his...

If you think about Corbyn's "friends" in the Middle East, such as Iran, Hamas & Hezbollah, then take a glance at these Belfast wall murals, you'll realise that support for the IRA & anti-Israeli / anti-Semitic groups & regimes...pic.twitter.com/CcMgk7Ur6R

... tends to go hand in hand. Obviously there is now a narrative to explain Comrade Jeremy's radical chic past, in the same way Diane Abbott supported the IRA but apparently this changed along with her hairstyle. To be honest, I'm unconvinced that either of them have changed.
