Vegetarian Jeremy Corbyn supporter @KhaledElawadi wants to know:
Whilst insisting action is taken on Antisemitism, are we happy for Jews to be allowed to remain hidden away like gay people, ashamed to come out of their closet?
-
-
I'm left, once again, with my mouth a gasp. Too much material here to either comment on or get my head around, 'show me lists'? Jesus. The undertones of the past is astonishing and appalling. The actual question should be, when are so many racists gonna come out of their closets?
-
You and me both. That’s a good question. Dave Rich’s book explains a lot. In a nutshell, the party’s membership has tripled in the last 3 years, Corbyn frequently ignores/overlooks/downplays/engages in Antisemitic activity as he doesn’t seem to grasp (or IMO care) what/why...
-
Certain things are AS. He frequently sides with Antisemites (Holocaust deniers, even convicted terrorists) over Jews, and when concerns have been voiced, senior LP members have cried ‘smear’, & those speaking up have been disciplined. IMO the horde’s taking its lead from the top.
-
I think its time we asked the directors of countdown if they know there employee is slandering the queens leader of the Opposition

Stupid woman - I mean person! - read my lips
-
Read my lips Josie of course . Keep going Rachel - we are with you all the way and you have massive support
-
thanks Darren

Firstly, this is disgusting. I agree that JCs handling of AS has been awful; however, we dnt know if this individual is a member of the lab party. An individual can put they are associated with any party (whether the party like it or not). If he is i hope
@UKLabour remove him. -
The spread of AS in those who otherwise (despite their obv AS) self identify as ‘anti-racists’ is what I worry about. Seems emboldened with cries of smear or legitimate criticism of Israel in the face of old school Soviet/Nazi tropes, just as senior Labour officials have repeated
-
Whether they are card holding Labour members or just self-declared supporters, the spread of these ignorant conspiracy theories is just as damaging.
-
The smears of these
@GnasherJew collective bullies is very concerning indeed Rachel. You appear to be choosing to ignore this. Is there a reason why? CC@francesweetmanhttps://mydisabilityrights.wordpress.com/2018/12/22/the-gnasher-jew-labour-antisemitism-bullying-campaign/ …

What's fucking wrong with people? I'm just baffled now. Jews having to identify themselves? I'm sure that's happened before somewhere. No one has to divulge if they're Christian or Buddhist or Thundercats fans. Ridiculous.
-
I’m not a Thundercats fan per se, but I would definitely have a go at karaoke-ing the theme tune. And before you say it, that doesn’t mean I have anything against Top Cat.
And yep, this is all head-bangingly baffling! -
I'd love to see the Karaoke DJ's face. "Yeah Thundercats, please"

You dont even know whether this man is a party member. Or for that matter, whether he's a genuine supporter.
-
Ah great. That makes me feel so much better. As long as he’s not a member....
-
It doesn't make anyone feel better. But it highlights the difficulty in establishing the origins of the problem and dealing with it.
-
I have seen many cases reported and when the worldwide perception now is that
@UKLabour has an AS problem, actions rather than words from the leadership are long overdue. -
The party does take action against party members and repeatedly confirms its condemnation of antisemtism. Not so easy to take action against members of the public.
-
I’m not convinced but I appreciate your comments. And to be clear I condemn all such issues - the Tories have some Islamaphobic problems to deal with that also need dealing with.
