  2. Indexing AISH is long overdue. It takes action to confront poverty - the kind of action people have long asked for - and I am so proud we made this change.

  4. Governments make better decisions when we’re closer to parity, and I'm so proud to lead Canada's first gender-balanced cabinet. There is so much more work to be done to get more women active in politics - and leading in other areas too.

  6. The oil price crisis has made things tough but Alberta’s population is growing and there are even more jobs than a year ago. Stats Can’s latest numbers are out and “overall employment in the province has been increasing since June 2016.” Get the facts:

Not everyone is feeling the recovery yet. Margot has done an incredible thing to help her neighbours in north by creating a free pantry in her yard to help anyone in need. If you're able, swing by Abbeydale Little Free Pantry and drop off a few items.

We're listening, and protecting Bighorn for today and future generations. Here’s a letter we got from 37 biologists. They’re urging us to move forward and to protect Bighorn. They’re concerned about what could happen to this beautiful land if we don’t.

This tragedy breaks my heart. I want to add my condolences to the Banff Fire Department, Clara’s family and all those who knew and loved this young woman who had dedicated herself to keeping others safe. My thoughts are also with the others who were affected by this crash.

Tough loss for Team Canada in O.T. The tournament is over for us now. The guys should still hold their heads high - they played well. 🇨🇦

I'd like to thank Mishel Assiniboine for her courage and strength. She's right. This happens in Alberta. But just because it happens doesn't mean we need to accept it. Let's be true neighbours. Let's speak up. There's no excuse for such cowardly behaviour.

What a great story. YESS Painting offers life skills & job experience to youth. "We're youth who have come from a rough background, facing difficult realities. But he helped us pick ourselves up, and he's teaching us how to live a sustainable life."

Welcome to the world Aryia & Tia! They are and 's New Year babies. 👶👶 Sounds like they have a few things in common - they both arrived a few weeks early, and both the first in their families to be born in Canada.
