We have a company AMA this week. After a year of sharing board decks, monthly metrics, and explaining our business and what it all means, our team is now asking the wonderfully hard and challenging questions - as good as investors and board members ask. Go team! 👏👏👏

Narcissistic leaders refuse to change and choose to stagnate. Humble leaders adapt to make themselves better. Servant leaders reinvent themselves to make the people around them better.

“A one-on-one meeting isn’t a reporting session. It’s not an accountability tool. A one-on-one meeting is your radar. It’s your metal detector. It’s one of the only ways you have to unearth what’s actually going on in your team.” —

These airport bathroom feedback displays are usually placed in a non-convenient location. I love that SFO added them right after you complete your bathroom experience since the engagement will (most likely) be higher = more feedback = opportunity to make the product better.

Before arguing with friends or family around the Thanksgiving table, take a look at the science behind arguing better. And it'll never hurt to try this: "Listen to people, get them to think about their own experience, and highlight your common humanity."

There is no substitute for doing the work. Don't mistake dreaming about it, thinking about it, or talking about for doing it. If you want to get stronger lift heavy things; rest; repeat. If you want to get faster run; rest; repeat. If you want to learn read; rest; repeat.

Smearing a 33-year upstanding public servant - in real time - is evidence of witness tampering and intimidation by THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES. He is a criminal and a thug.

People love to hate on process. But good process sets the baseline for how things should work & creates a way to be repeatably successful at scale/across teams w/out micro mgmt. Uninterested in the lone, rogue “genius” who can’t scale/repeat their results.

The most important consideration in early jobs isn't passion or status. It's learning. Take the role where you expect to gain the most knowledge and skills from the work. Pick the place where you expect to gain the most valuable insights from mentors and peers.
