A BA in psychology? That’s what they were using? They should be well aware of cause/effect analysis, and placebo effects then right?
-
Psychology uses methods that are very different from pharmacology: highly dimensional stuff with latent variables. Maybe there are persons who master both areas, but unlikely at BA level.

I don't know about this argument. My mom was sick for years with an unknown illness, she say MANY top notch specialists who misdiagnosed her for years and put her on hospice in the end. Years of specialists. Family research discovered what was the cause. She's now healthy & well.

Bless them for listening to and trying to communicate with the readers of the inserts. Even if it ends with the awkward credential measuring. Social media has to be a frustrating (and educational) experience for people with that job.
