    1. Everything is now set against the backcloth of , it corrodes our body politic & undermines the UK in so many ways. It was based on lies & enacted with political incompetence & was never going to deliver the false promises made to achieve it.

    Absolutely .. plus I might add an utter failure of ALL opposition parties to grasp the fact that individually & tribally they cannot win. We need a new Progressive, Inclusive, Internationalist party standing for Togethering not Othering, Human Rights & Environment

    I have said this before but Brexit is an indictment of our education system. That millions of people have no critical faculties and will believe any old shit they are told is to our eternal shame. Brexit is a victory for collective stupidity abetted by a supine media.

    I've been on guard since 2014! So much was so obvious for so long but with a split useless opposition what do we do!

    I suspect many in EU (& UK) don't yet grasp just how malignant & dangerous New Tories & their hardcore supporters are: purged of moderates, dishonest & dishonourable, full of the arrogance & ignorance of all ideologues, a tempest of spite & ill-will towards EU. Be fully on guard!

    Those disruptions were Govt-identified risks of a no-deal crash out (esp in Mar ‘19 when Govt were ill-prepared). We now have completed a withdrawal agreement with a no-changes implementation period until end 2020. Facts still matter to many of us.

    One day in and so far: ❌No food riots ❌No medicine shortages ❌No gridlocked motorways ❌No migrant camps in Kent ❌No collapse in house prices ❌No emergency tax rises ❌No world war Weren't we told that "It's not Project Fear, it's Project Reality"?

    Downing Street briefings that the EU is “moving the goalposts” for a free trade agreement and is belatedly demanding that the UK should not be compelled to maintain standards on state aid, competition, workers rights and environment seems either flaky or deliberately designed...

    Labour needs to leave the house beginning to think if they elect Long-Bailey there's more chance of it. House is on fire..they're the elephant blocking the door. Too big to get out, not big enough to break out. Stopping others getting through. Need 1 oppo party & it's not Labour

    I'm not expecting to back rejoining the EU at this stage. That would be jumping the gun. But there is no excuse for Labour not relentlessly attacking the right-wing abuses of democracy that resulted in Brexit. Brexit is a crime against democracy. NO IMPUNITY!
