It’s the new subcount display that went into effect today! It shows as a massive drop for everyone as far as I’m aware - RIP youtube

It's because YouTube now only shows the first 3 digits of subscriber count on social blade, so you can't see real time subscriber count anymore unless it jumps a lot.

Crap, I see you already beat me to explaining it 8 hours prior. Don't I look silly now. LOL!

YouTube no longer has live sub count. It's been replaced with something worse (abbreviated sub count). We'll likely see stagnant growth followed by big leaps on Social Blade because it's no longer accurate. More info here:https://socialblade.com/blog/abbreviated-subscriber-counts-on-youtube/ …

YouTube's algorithm seems to auto unsub ppl if you don't put out content for a while. It's a really shitty way to force ppl to keep uploading videos.

Guess I better go check that I'm still subscribed.

At -790, you'll probably see a +1k soon with their truncated subscriber count thing now.

No...that is because on 9-17 Social Blade got the "new data" from Youtube where YouTube now only shows 3 digits and truncates the rest.
