Rachael’s Tweets

A friend has enthusiastically messaged me happy birthday which is lovely even though it is absolutely not my birthday.

Yes of course. She’s the victim. She tweeted repeated insults then didn’t like when I replied. Admits she says she wasn’t going to stop. No doubt she thinks she’s a good person but this behaviour is not ok. If you are asked to stop harassing someone, STOP.

This person of course blocked me because this is what they do. They love to get angry, throw sexist insults around and then pretend they’ve been victimised when their harassment is defined.

I’ve asked you repeatedly to stop. I’ve used the words…just stop. You won’t. You are harassing me.

I swear to god the next person who tells me to get a supermarket trolley token is being blocked. I can’t bestow you with understanding or a sense of humour but I can give you the gift of time for introspection.

I had a good dad. He joined the RAAF at 17 as a pathway out of a chaotic and under privileged childhood. They helped him finish school which changed his future and that’s why I had the stable and privileged childhood he didn’t. Gone 3 years but never forgotten. Happy Fathers Day.

Actually we do know the answer. Women weren't allowed to become astronauts for NASA until 1978, & one of the greatest astronauts of all time, Ed Dwight, was blocked from Apollo missions in the 60s because he was Black. NASA was not a meritocracy. Apparently neither is journalism.

If you didn’t see this last night this is worth your time today. I’ve never seen this issue so perfectly articulated. You’re not oppressed because you no longer enjoy unquestioned authority.

May I also get a front page, a show on TV, a radio program, to complain about being silenced and cancelled?

“Get a token etc”. Yeah that requires an even greater level of organisation than having a random coin. What part of the problem isn’t clear? (It’s me. I’m the problem 😂).

The supermarkets in my area have chained up trolleys that need a coin to access. It’s 2022. Who has a coin?

Because white men have always occupied the centre, some seem to think if they can't have an opinion on everything, this is some kind of oppression. It isn't. There was always other centres, other lives, others opinions in which you were irrelevant (as I am in others matters).

I think these people are not angry because they are silenced/cancelled. Factually, they are not - they dominate Australia media. They are mad because more people don't take their views as automatically relevant or important. They no longer enjoy the privilege of assumed authority

This guy is a serial harasser of women and other minorities, especially women of the left. He sends insults and thinly veiled threats to Sen. Faruqi amongst others nearly every day. I’m seeing him in my feed. Please don’t engage with this skid mark. He is an angry grub.

Rightio now my inbox is exploding with furious men earning over $200,000 a year. Who are very cross about this article. It's just a fact. Stop being so emotional :) The article isn't saying you can't have your $9,000 tax cut just pointing out who is getting them

Just walked past a discarded half eaten bbq chicken next to a discarded half empty loaf of bread. Looks like someone had a good time.
