Facebook took down my page with nearly 70,000 followers, labeling it as "spam," when I have spent 4 years working to build that page up and using it to post the articles I wrote and videos of my reporting. This is so incredibly wrong and is affecting hundreds of similar pages.

That should serve as a warning to all content creators that when we build on other’s platforms we own nothing. They can pull the rug at any time. We must create direct relationships with our subscribers and hit multiple platforms.

Many months ago I stopped even looking at Facebook... I’m down to twice a month. I use Twitter much more but even consider going off the grid altogether.

I only use Facebook to wish people a happy birthday. Twitter suspended me last month for telling protesters to play in traffic even though they were already playing in traffic.

I'm banned on Facebook for posting a F.B.I. crime statistic that shows African American men 18-24 commit over half of all murders. I guess Facebook hates the F.B.I.? Or maybe just me.
