    Facebook took down my page with nearly 70,000 followers, labeling it as "spam," when I have spent 4 years working to build that page up and using it to post the articles I wrote and videos of my reporting. This is so incredibly wrong and is affecting hundreds of similar pages.

    The fact that Facebook is taking down pages focused on holding police accountable, giving a voice to the voiceless, and showing the public what their government is doing behind closed doors, and labeling those pages as "political spam," while MSM goes untouched, speaks volumes.

    Facebook claims my page was taken down because it was used for political spam. But I would never try to convince anyone to vote a certain way, or to vote at all. Instead, my career has been devoted to educating people on topics often ignored by the MSM, such as gov't corruption.

    Of 800 pages Facebook banned, several were police accountability orgs w/ millions of followers, like Cop Block & Police the Police. If this is about clickbait, why are Buzzfeed & Huff Po still up? The govt-tech purge of dissidents continues at a rapid pace w/ disturbing silence.

    Isn't it ironic that when people started openly questioning Saudi Arabia's role in the disappearance of Jamal Khashoggi and the United States' close ties to the Saudis, suddenly Facebook shuts down hundreds of accounts and essentially creates its own massive media event?

    This thread of Tweets has come full circle. It was easy for people to justify banning Alex Jones and InfoWars from Facebook and Twitter but that appears to have been just the beginning of what was to come...

    I'm not a fan of Alex Jones, but the choice to ban InfoWars sets a dangerous precedent. It's easy to use InfoWars as the example now, but what happens when this treatment is used on other outlets and journalists, and why are we trusting Facebook/YouTube to make these decisions?

    When you really need to work on your computer during your flight, and it's not until after you have boarded that you find out the wifi isnt working and you're stuck on a plane for 3 hours, unable to get anything done. This was my first time flying ... is this normal?

    Without warning or explanation, just unpublished hundreds of pages including independent media outlets with millions of followers. Make no mistake, this is an extreme act of censoring the truth.

    So claims you can submit an "appeal" if you think they "made a mistake" by taking your page down, but it has been several hours, and I have yet to receive a response. Has anyone else received any word from Facebook on if they plan to address this?
