We must call for change. This week I am honored to represent Team USA at the Pan Am Games, taking home Gold and Bronze. and a president who spreads hate are at the top of a long list. I chose to sacrifie my moment today at the top of the podium to call attention to issues that I believe need to be addressed. I encourage others to please use your platforms for empowerment and change.

Much respect, this was a principled and courageous act.
Kneeling is the position of surrender. This was not courageous. BEING the change is. Here is a person who clearly has NO CLUE what a genuine sacrifice looks like for one's country.
You are only on that podium because of the debt paid by American soldiers.
And all who have fought for our country have fought for his right to kneel in honor of the highest ideals of our country in hopes that they can be enjoyed by all, without discrimination and without disrespect.
This is a slap in the face and total disrespect to all Americans and the military!
