This is a touchy subject indeed. My father was a pastor. He raise a family of 6 on the most modest income. We were one of the families that received food baskets in the winter. My father believed that God would bless his family one day. Long story short, God blessed him.

As a millennial and a Christian, I’m very aware that one cannot worship God and money. This has always looked like money worship to me, whether it’s $2000 sneakers, $10,000 suits, or $80,000 cars. I don’t expect pastors to be broke and struggling. I do expect different priorities
