look again, I bet you can replace a lot of stuff with “throw everything out”
I was told making a list of everything I have to do to move out of my apartment would help me organize and feel accomplished as I check things off. Instead, seeing everything I have to do in the next few weeks written down is...not helping.

Oh God, yes. I thought that would be helpful as well hence I am an organizing freak and love to check things off. It didn't. May I offer an advice though? Take the whole load and devide it into days. Make a list of a few things you can accomplish every day. It's less daunting.

I never start an overwhelming to do list until I can cheat and put a bunch of stuff down I already did and cross them off AND put check marks for good measure.
