I love how Mike Pompeo tried to humiliate an NPR reporter by asking her to identify Ukraine on a map; she did; he lied about it; and then a few days later his boss couldn’t even correctly identify which state a major American city was in.

The Trump family came in to the White House and immediately started figuring out ways to line their pockets with taxpayer dollars. Please share this video from that separates the propaganda from reality:

I agree with all of this... But I'm not a US voter, so my opinion doesn't really count for much

A lot of tweets about miss that 02 February 2020 is a palindrome in USA, UK and ISO formats; it is a palindrome day of the year (33) and there are a palindrome of days left in the year (333). This will never happen again. More details here:

‘Move for a mistrial’: Legal analyst says Adam Schiff must end Senate trial before GOP acquits Trump | Raw Story

Many have asked if the House managers can move for a mistrial. Here are my quick thoughts: I wish Schiff WOULD make a motion for a mistrial based on, among other things, the revelation of Cipollone’s grossly unethical conduct/conflicts of interest. I wouldn’t be deterred that...

Can we please ask the question: Is this a mistrial? We need to send this issue, as well as others (Trump’s lawyers blatantly lying) through the courts as separate charges. Otherwise, we set the precedent that anything goes if you can convince a biased jury to acquit.

“Every time I hear someone say, “But Trump would never...” I recall all the times we were told by tut-tutting Western pundits that Putin would never jail his opposition, would never return to the presidency, would never invade Ukraine...He would & he did.“

A shift: Wuhan man who filmed body bags piling up at hospital and was detained thinks police suddenly released him after realizing he already went viral in China. “My safety depended on everybody. Being scared [of police] and begging won’t help...So, we have to all rise up.”

I used to think the right relied on the Dunning Kruger effect being present in all the voters they fool. Now I’m positive Republicans don’t even know what the Dunning Kruger effect is because of the Dunning Kruger effect.

I disagree with . The problem is that most elected Republicans don't really care about democracy as such. They care about gaining and holding onto power. They believe Trump is on their team and he will help them remain in power.

But Trump was impeached on charges of abuse of power and obstruction of Congress, not charges of equating his re-election self-interest with the public interest. Did the WSJ Editorial Board skip the proceedings? This is utterly shameful.

I was left stunned by the argument that Dershowitz and Trump's legal team made yesterday. It's the kind of thing I have heard in authoritarian countries -- that if the leader does it, and they think it's good for the public, then it's legitimate. We must all reject that argument.
