The NIH received the relevant documents in 2018 and reviewed the documents in 2020 and again in 2021. The NIH--specifically, Collins, Fauci, and Tabak--lied to Congress, lied to the press, and lied to the public. Knowingly. Willfully. Brazenly.

The NIH are clearly feeling the heat, which can only be a good thing. Maybe someone at the EHA is going to squeal.

Happy to see EHA being held to account. But bad idea to cite chimps and humans as analogies. Primate mutation rate would be orders of magnitude slower than coronaviruses. Second some of our politicans may not like to be reminded of the 96% similarity

There’s a grammatical error in the first sentence of paragraph 5, hopefully their review of what’s GOF and what’s not is better than their proofreading.

So, if I understand correctly, it is implied here that primates and viruses evolve at the same rate. Doesn’t sound quite right to me, but then I’m not a biologist.pic.twitter.com/S49woAyn4x

It is off by five orders of magnitude.
