To everyone reporting on my airport experience in Iceland.
PLEASE STOP SAYING I was EVADING excess baggage fees....I couldn't AFFORD the fee (£90) as a result of being left homeless in Iceland for over a week.
Paints a VERY different picture.

Happens to the best of us. EasyJet are shite...will never choose to fly with them if I ever get the chance.

As opposed to "evading" would you prefer "avoiding" or "trying not to pay" who goes on vacation to be homeless in Iceland and then won't pay their bag fees? Next time you can "evade" fees by taking a vacation you can afford. Be thankful the airlines refunded you.

So how did you get the clothes out to Iceland? If you can afford to buy enough stuff in Iceland to necessitate an additional bag, why should we feel sorry for you? Plus BA only charge £20 for an additional bag if you pay at check in. After it’s £60 so you’re talking balls.
What kind of logic is that, Yes you where trying to avoid the fee since you had the choice to leave what you couldnt pay for and board the plane with what you could. To try and pull the racecard is just extremely dishonest and disgusting. Hope you get sued by the airline.
