Education is a ‘silver bullet’ and can make a massive difference to life chances. Sadly, across the world girls are far less likely to be educated than boys. We have a responsibility to promote this - and I’m pleased to see this investment in girls education.

It was not the result we had hoped for in Barnet and Camden and was always going to be tough in a constituency where Labour had won 25,000 votes more than us in 2019. But I am proud we were able to reduce their majority to 13,000 and am humbled to have received so much support.
