Apart from anything scarce resources are being sucked up by the hypersensitive and very expensive and time-consuming PCR test which is non standardized and not fit for purpose. How much longer do we need to wait before common sense prevails/ Test daily. Visit grandma guilt free

Bravo for this article! Any chance of getting MA to adopt these test and a PCR cycle threshold limit of 35 when it comes to counting cases. Cities are coded and schools are being opened or closed in MA based on PCR case counts.. It has real impacts

The NYT article led to confusion. We would not want to change the threshold to count cases. A pos is a positive. We want to consider thresholds or the values among positives when deciding on how to deal with the positive (isolate/quarantine/contact trace etc)
