Thank you for addressing the shortage of ID doctors which is especially visible during the pandemic. I think in addition to encouraging more physicians to choose ID, utilizing teleID for remote areas will be very helpful. Great study.

I worked in an underserved area as a Peds ID doc for my j-1 waiver. It was one of the best experience I had in my career. However , felt terribly left out by our infectious diseases societies. We need to do a better job supporting ID docs that go to rural communities.
