New drug, new profit opportunities. The blatant cynicism with which TDF is being dragged through mud is disgusting . You hope drug companies would do better but the default is choosing profit over lives. #EtHE efforts do not need the sabotage, it's hard enough already!.
Let’s recall, we have been giving TDF to people WITHOUT HIV for 7 years. How toxic could it be? TAF is not new! It was discovered in 2000. They just waited to introduce till TDF was off patent.

Gilead has been extraordinarily successful at dragging TDF through the mud. As someone who takes TDF everyday, I think we gloss over the harms that were caused to ppl on COBI or RTV boosted regimens, people who could of been using TAF had GILD not intentionally delayed itpic.twitter.com/DqoiozetRz
