Richard's opponent, Senator Tina Smith, has yet to publicly comment on her attempt to attach her PolyMet land swap amendment to an unrelated defense spending bill, which will surely pass through a Republican congress.
We will not allow this issue to go unaddressed. #environment

This whole process of attaching amendments to an unrelated bill in itself seems to perpetuate corruption. Time for complete overhaul of how bills are passed.

Minnesotans we need you to elect Richard Painter as your senator. Richard will not only stand up for the people of your beautiful state but he will stand up for the country. We need someone that will stand up for all Americans. I wish I had a vote. He reminds me of Al Franken .

Look below for comments that 1) address the merits of the Smith Amendment, or 2) change the topic.
It’s amazing how many proponents of sulfide mining on federal land change the topic. It’s because they know that what they are doing is wrong. Very wrong.

Took me 2 seconds to google Senator Smith's comments on the land swap. Can be found in the Strib two days back. If you're going to lie, maybe try harder.
