and since the vast majority of Americans agree that war weapons have no place in civilian hands, we need to vote for candidates who are willing to stand up to the NRA-gun-manufacturers lobby and stand for the safety of fellow Americans.

My heart goes to the victims and their families suffering after the attack in Antioch this morning. This tragedy demonstrates the sad truth: we can't have police officers in every restaurant, school, or church. But we can keep weapons designed for war out of dangerous hands.
