I am tired of these attacks on #PlannedParenthood, which ultimately are an attack on women. Mr. Matlock's unwarranted and uninformed attack is divisive and does nothing to address reproductive challenges facing women. (2/6)

PP provides reproductive and prenatal healthcare to thousands of women in East Tennessee. They provide services to some of the neediest families and have repeatedly shown that they separate public funds for appropriate uses. (3/6)

Mr. Matlock needs to remember that more government regulation on women's health isn't going to help women-- and it won't prevent abortions. What we need is affordable childcare, affordable healthcare, and sexual health education, not pointless legislation. (4/6)

What do we need to prevent abortions? Contraception. Sex Ed. Paid maternity leave. Ending pregnancy discrimination. Affordable healthcare, prenatal and postpartum. WIC. Access to childcare. When politicians start bickering about $11K in funding, they are avoiding reality. (5/6)
