I’m disappointed that @timburchett stood up & skipped our town hall tonight.
The non-partisan event sponsors -- the League of Women Voters, the YWCA, the Knox County Education Coalition, & more -- deserve better from their Congressman. The voters of East Tennessee do too.

Did he ever promise he would attend to begin with? That’s a different question than if he should have agreed to be present. I see shades of gray in this race.

He refused to debate her in 2018, he refused again in 2020. He won’t even come to a non partisan event. He votes no even on non partisan bills to help Tennesseans.
