When did he vote NO on this?
My opponent @timburchett voted against a bipartisan amendment that funds youth suicide prevention (Amdt 299 to HR 2740).
He was one of only 38 'no' votes in Congress.
Suicide is the 2nd leading cause of death for youth. We need to treat it like the mental health crisis it is.

I challenged him this spring with his phone # stunt, asking how he would handle someone in a mental health crisis if they call. Did he have training. Basically he said: I got this don’t, worry about it. He’s just another person that doesn’t *actually* care.

I know, I live on Guam, it’s part of Micronesia & a USA Territory. We have a higher rate of suicide than than the Mainland USA, especially among young men between 15-27 yrs. old. There are several academic papers/peer reviewed written about suicide out here on the islands.
