The House just passed HR 4, the "Voting Rights Advancement Act of 2019", which would renew the protections of the 1965 Voting Rights Act and ensure the elimination of racial voting barriers across the country.

Our democracy only works when everyone has equal access to the ballot box. Complicated and burdensome voting laws, often disproportionately impacting poor people, young people, and people of color aren't just bad practice, but a threat to our representative government.
