There is no place for homophobic comments at any level of our government, whether it’s the Sevier County Commission or the United States Congress. I call on the leaders of Sevier County to stand against this language, because, East Tennesseans deserve better than this.
@SevierCounty Commissioner Hurst’s hateful bigotry has no place in the county commission. He should resign and be replaced by someone who does not endorse hatred.
