I don't know anyone who was actually bothered by Rep. Rashida Tlaib's comments. I just see a lot of pundits telling people they should be bothered — which in turn artificially amplifies her comments and tells people that the normative response is to be bothered.

The average age of a U.S. Senator is 64. Seriously, that's the average.--Half of them are actually older, which means they at least lived through the Cold War, if not WWII. They *know* our history with Russia. How are they not completely losing their sh*t over this?

Speaking in the Rose Garden, Trump says Rep. Rashida Tlaib "dishonored her family" by using the word "motherf*cker." .. she should've gone with "pussy-grabber," apparently.

Trump is trying to make the case for his border wall by talking about human trafficking and gender based violence. You know what addresses human trafficking and gender based violence? The Violence Against Women Act ... which expired thanks to Trump's government shutdown.

When Trump goes to the Rose Garden to condemn Rashida Tlaib this afternoon — and he will — I need just one reporter to ask him if he thinks he should lead by example if he wants a more civil tone.
