I’ve been a contingent employee at Lsu for nearly a year and been told I can’t get hired on full time and receive benefits because it’s not in the budget 🙃

It was definitely a point of conversation in ECE, where we struggled with funding and no one caring while watching a new addition to Tiger Stadium go up literally across the street.
