I know how to generate certificates, that's not the point or the problem.

I always use Argo Tunnel with free TryCloudflare if I need quick SSL for local tests

Yeah, not a bad idea, but not something I can use for corporate network resources.

Fair enough, but I couldn't fit everything into that tweet so followed-up as a thread. And I got replies to follow-ups, not the first tweet, which suggests that people are replying having read the whole story/question.
