Tried setting up self-signed HTTPS certificate for "local" testing (well, actually, it's on another machine so not even `localhost`). Failed as usual.
Gave up, went to chrome://flags and added domain to "Insecure origins treated as secure". Not great but better than disabling web security altogether, as it allows to disable checks only for particular origin.
