    Learning to code is life-changing for many b/c it’s often the 1st time they realize they can teach themselves a valuable skill despite always being told they couldn’t do it without school. Your entire identity transforms as you realize what you’re capable of. Pretty magical.

    I wonder if the saying “Everything happens for a reason” was instead trying to say something more like “Good things come from all bad things.” When bad things happen, it’s sometimes hard to hear people tell you that everything happens for a reason.
