Making Chris a villain would be such a weird move... I guess with Wesker gone, there aren't that many villains to choose from.

I’m not totally against the idea, but it’s going to be an extremely tough sell, and pretty hard for players to suspend their disbelief on this one. Chris has always been just such a caring and compassionate protagonist that’s it’ll be very hard to take his change seriously.
