They are irrelevant. The reason intelligence agencies "unmask" is to know who is behind the crime. They didn't know it was Flynn....the fact that is was, is on Flynn. Also, so called "unmasking" goes on all the time - legally, even now. Yes, this IS designed as a distraction.
