This makes me sad. No one’s perfect but I've never met anyone who goes through more personal pain to fight for an inspiring future for humanity - and has done so tirelessly for decades. Everyone’s entitled to their opinion but mine is that there’s no one I respect and admire more

Maybe do some research before you eulogise about the wonderful Elon. His Dad owned an Emerald mine in Zambia so the family was loaded. He would not have a clue what ‘coming from nothing’ means.

No. I am saying that he clearly did not come from nothing. Which is what you stated in your previous tweet. He has evidently been successful but there is no point in just making stuff about the guy up.

He legit basically made it from nothing. Even if he was given money we’ve had millions of millionaires who didn’t start three major business from the bottom all extremely scientifically intricate from rocket engines to brain chemistry. None of which had very much data to start

The phrase ‘made it from nothing’ literally means that. He was raised in with a golden spoon in his hand, not as some street urchin. I am not taking away from his achievements but don’t make this some rags to riches nonsense.

His idea and what he’s known for a built on which is not his fathers achievements came from a field of almost nothing and he from scratch built his ideas. That’s my takeaway why does it matter who his parents were.
