Out of curiosity, why aren't these exact same knots in all the other garages? That's a question I would have for NASCAR? IF they were, Wallace's team would have seen this for years...

Teams don't use the same garage stall every time they visit the track. Every other garage pull was straight rope, no knots.

I dunno the laws in that state but just displaying a noose in public is illegal in many states. There is still the questions of who did it, who told them too, and why dud officials ignore it for so long

Exactly. I grew up on a farm and got into kayaking and sailing as a teen and young adult. Never once was taught how to tie a noose.
