I asked the @WSJ to allow @PennMedAlumni to respond to Goldfarb’s op-ed w FACTS. This is their response: “Maybe we should begin to wonder about the quality of the doctors who graduate from Penn” WOW 😳 Alexa cue “I’m Upset” by Drake Cc:@RJmdphillyhttps://www.wsj.com/articles/corrupting-medical-education-11568578153?redirect=amp#click=https://t.co/ja7KK0LbnD …

Also apparently Medical Twitter is “left-wing”, “patients want an accurate diagnosis, not a lecture on social justice or climate change” AND they praise “Dr. Goldfarb for having the courage to call out the politicization of medical education that should worry all Americans”

I feel like Ive been bullied by a NATIONAL journal, told that valuing my patients’ LIVES is a dismissible leftist agenda. This is white privilege. Dr. Goldfarb, after being dismissed, gets a national platform, while I’m on twitter writing about it (and shedding a couple of tears)

What a mess. I expect these kinds of things will happen in other fields too (already low key do).

Yeah, I think the contrasts between “old ways” and justice are becoming more stark and impossible to ignore. As hard as it is, it makes it clear what you’re up against
