Thanks for the shoutout, Dave! We couldn’t agree more. We’re here to hold those employers accountable, even if we have to bring our own chair to sit

Nothing but thankful for our union, @RFPU_NW. Anyone who’s afraid to give residents a seat at the bargaining table doesn’t have their best interest in mind. Healthy residents who are recognized as real people by their institutions provide the highest quality patient care.

Individualistic, myopic MBA-style thinking here. Unionization among medical trainees isn’t just about their own professional interests and conditions. It’s a key step toward building collective power to force changes to our indefensible for-profit system of healthcare exclusion.

A one-year pause and reassessment would allow us to sift through the fearmongering on both sides of the unionization debate trib.al/uhwivRN

Economists & academics have continued to debunk the government argument that any above inflation public sector pay rises will increase inflation rates. 🧵👇 Doctors & healthcare workers deserve to be paid what they are worth. We need your support in our fight for #PayRestoration

Big #landlords and developers have been rightfully denied the ability to squeeze struggling #tenants. When we show up to vote for socialists, the billionaire class loses some of its grip on our city. Let's keep the pressure on!

📢ACTION ALERT📢 Take a few seconds to send this letter to the urging them to vote YES tomorrow to cap late fees for renters to no more than $10/month ⬇️

Dobbs is already having the reverberating ripple effects we knew it would. Providers will have less access to the comprehensive medical training they need and the increased shortage of OB/GYN services in rural communities will only lead to worse maternal & child health outcomes

Post-Dobbs decision, US MD seniors applying for OB/GYN residencies were less likely to apply to programs in states with abortion bans More in our brief here: aamc.org/advocacy-polic

UW fought tenaciously when our residency unionized. They hired an infamous union busting law firm. They claimed we were ineligible to unionize because we “were no different than students.” MGH ought to set a good example & accept a resident union without waste & disrespect.

Read my Globe Op Ed. MGB has the opportunity to set the example for residencies everywhere by recognizing our union! bostonglobe.com/2023/04/03/opi

Understaffing, lack of support & corporatization are hurting emergency physicians and making potential doctors second guess the profession. Hundreds of EM residency positions went unfilled this year. Critical care is in danger and we need to take action.
