    Spacesuited & booted! in 2006, an empty spacesuit was launched from the . Equipped with a radio transmitter, batteries & internal sensors that measured temperature & battery power, the suit was a low-tech satellite that transmitted its condition to Earth.

    ham radios will officially be off on Jan 26 (though I am just now hearing the repeater has been off for a few days) to support the EVA on Jan 27. Radios should be back on Jan 28 for SSTV and hope that will restore the repeater. Next mode change targeting early Feb.
