Yes, I know that and understand the concept. What I said was that the views change exponentially from one video to the next. So if 1000 people watch a video on Monday, on Wednesday it will be 100 people.

Right, but those aren’t probably from subs. Have you looked at just your subscribers-only stats in the analytics? Otherwise view count itself isn’t reflective of subs since some videos will perform better for all kinds of reasons. There’s always an answer beyond they’re not real.

Of course there is always an answer beyond that. I check my analytics. But I do believe there’s something in the system that is messed up. I’ve been on YouTube for a decade. I need to bring attention to things in the hope that they will improve for the community.

The tweet I’m responding to is you asking if your subs are fake and then saying you think so. That’s all you wrote. But now of course you admit there’s an answer beyond that.
You just lemme know if you solve the same problem almost everyone else has been having for years too.1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -

I still think that some of my subs are fake or bots of some kind. I am not discarding that theory. That's my point. I tweet about it so that an answer can be found, not to complain.

Tweeting will not get you an answer. Do you have any idea how many people have tweeted to TeamYouTube about that over & over throughout the years? If you think one random tweet like that is going to help the community you're sadly mistaken. Only you can fix your channel's issues.

It is not one random tweet. Mine is one of many. Instead of x amount of tweets saying that, there are xy tweets saying that because of my one random tweet. Rosa Parks was one random person on a bus who refused to stand up. You think that didn’t make a difference?

That is incredibly different from just tweeting a complaint or question. I’m not sure why you think it’s at all the same. It’s great to try to make change, but you aren’t offering a solution or even going to someone directly. Pointless IMO to do it this way, but you do you.

You don’t think that multiple people tweeting multiple times makes a difference?

Sadly no. They are bombarded beyond comprehension with issues & problems tweeted, most of which are either incorrect or don't match what their own engineers say is going on. So everyone can scream & shout that the system isn't working, but it's been (& will be) years of the same.

I also don’t limit myself to Twitter. I speak directly to them, mention it in videos, talk about it in other platforms. It makes a difference because I have seen it with my own eyes. I am not a programmer so I can’t tell them how to fix things. I only have my voice & opinions.

Fair enough, I hope your efforts make a difference. Thanks for the conversation/debate - in the end we're both on the same side and obviously frustrated. lol. Fingers crossed for an improved 2019!

They already are making a difference. YouTube is working on some of our problems. They just aren’t the best at it.
I’m not holding all of my eggs in one basket hoping that YT will save me, but I do have hope that something will give.0 replies 0 retweets 1 like
