    In a study evaluating the use of a pregnancy-adapted YEARS algorithm in the management of suspected pulmonary embolism in pregnant women, pulmonary embolism was safely ruled out across all trimesters of pregnancy. CT pulmonary angiography was avoided in 32 to 65% of patients.

    Worth noting that a recent review of six short-term, limited duration “insurance” (junk) plans that came to market across 45 states in Oct. 2018 found that NONE offered care. meaningful, continuous coverage!

    In 2011 there were only 6 qualified midwives in South Sudan 🇸🇸. Today the country has more than 700, thanks to a training program supported by and partners. What it means for expectant mothers, babies, and communities 👉🏽
