    The 2050 commitment is welcome but we need urgent action. On air quality, our Every Breath We Take report from 2016 estimated 40,000 deaths a year attributable to outdoor air pollution.

    Legislation committing the UK to by 2050 has passed in the Commons & Lords. The UK Health Alliance on Climate Change welcomes this step, which brings opportunities to realise major co-benefits to public health - through cleaner air, active transport & sustainable diets.
